Appearance

Thoromir had long black hair in his youth which turned grey and white as he grew old. His eyes were dark blue and his skin paler than most. He often wore traditional Narvaukian clothing and opted not to wear a crown.

Family

The three Rurikkid Clans trace their divine heritage to Thoromir. Those of Clan Edvardssons, through Edvard Thorsson Ruric, those of Clan Eirikssons through Eirik Thorsson Ruric, and those of Clan Freysson through Frey Thorsson Ruric. Thoromir's sons were all born out of wedlock however he took care of his sons until his death.

Legacy

Thoromir Edvardsson Ruric is one of the most important figures in Norlandic history, being one of the ancient figures who united the old proto-Norlandic clans and tribes under one unified orthodoxy of the Red Faith, and setting his Highlander nation on the path of greatness. A man of the Edvardsson Clan, one of his descendants, was given the same name - Thoromir II Edvardsson Ruric, Earl of Nordengrad. As told by Norlandic legend, Edvard was given the First flame by the All-Father, which he used to keep the Norlandic people from freezing to death.
