Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn

Founded by the Patron Saint of Priest-Combatants and Demonic Banishment Saint Harald Vuiller, alongside John Vuiller; the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn was established as the militia of the Church. The Order was tasked for two things: Protecting the Canonist flock, and fighting for God. The Supreme Order is considered as the protector of the Canonist flock and its clergy, fighting for God and defending the Canonist believers; no matter what background they have. There are also times where they fight as soldiers for other Canonist nation's efforts; such as crushing rebellions, decreasing heresy through violence and warfare eta cetera.
History
Before being named the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn; The Palatine guard was established and led by Saint Harald Vuiller of Vuillermoz during the years of 1730 within the borders of the Holy See of Vuillermoz. The Order was firstly set forth due to the urgent need for protection of the noble canonist flock and its people during the time. From this Harald thought each of his members not to raise a sword against any who had accepted GOD into their heart and that any soul could be saved and was worth saving no matter race or age. These teachings and moral code is what our Order is based and built on. Any found member to be found breaking these morals and teachings attacking the innocent be handed punishment found fit for what crime they have committed.
When St. Harald passed to the Seven Skies in 1761 his son Johan Vuiller would take over from his place as Heir of House Vuiller. he would commit to the teachings of his father and working closely with his Holiness the High Pontiff James II and the rest of the Curia the Order would grow in numbers for years it blossomed until a disagreement with the late King Sigismund of Haense the city and Order would suffer, from being told that the Crown of Haense would see it as a act of war if the borders of the city would move from their current position. This would make the city cramped farms not able to grow larger and feed the people. From this now Knight-Regent and Cardinal Johan would admit defeat and advise his people to move from the town to ensure they would survive. After meeting with his Holiness after this and Johans close allies in the High Council his father had created they would together ask for aid from the Holy Orenian Empire. The late Emperor responded to their ask of aid and they were given new land next to the commonwealth of Kaedrin. With the help of the Grandmaster Ademar Castello and Cardinal Manifred, Johan would be able to build up their new town. Here they would once again be at peace and with that change a new name for the town was ready for the world and it would then be formerly known as The Holy Palatinate of Aquila.
Some years later the Grandmaster Holy Sir Ademar Castello came to Johan asking to be released from his position as Grandmaster as his age had started to catch up to him, Johan agreed to this under the terms that Ademar would stay in his position until they had found a person fit for the responsibility. After Johan and Ademar felt they had found two candidates the title ended up going to Leonid Amador, a sermon would be hosted where all Holy Knights and Squires were invited as the responsibility would go from one to another. After the ceremony was finished there would be a celebration feast within the walls of the Vuillerian keep until nights end. The day after Johan and Leonid would quickly get to work and their partnership would see a blossoming within the Order. But with a lot of new members and change it is important that we remember where we started. Our Order is built on the teachings of St. Harald, and these shall be our code of life. We are an Order dedicated to the protection of any man, woman,, elf, mage, dwarf and “hobbit” alike. any living creature that has accepted God's eternal light and love into their life and soul shall be protected unless they stand as a threat to the rest of the noble canonist flock. If the day ever comes where we have failed in this task and faltered away from our Holy purpose and these rules and values the Order shall be no more.

- Apostolic-General
The mandated representative of the Pontifex Maximus, who wields executive authority over all matters pertaining to the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn until established otherwise by the Pontifex Maximus. Ex officio, he has authority over the Order of Knights, the Army of God, and all laymen sworn in service to the Church. The Apostolic General has been granted the titles of “His Reverend Excellency the Apostolic General, Custodian of the Faith & Sword of Exalted Owyn.”
- Equestor-Imperator
The Knight-Commanders of the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn. The Knight-Commanders serve as members of the Papal Military High Command, and potential representatives of a regional chapter of the Supreme Order, who aids the Apostolic General in leadership affairs. An Equestor-Imperator is entitled to the honorific “His Excellency.”
- Equestor-Centurio
The Knight-Captains, or officers, of the Order of Knights. They carry the task of actively training & organizing the Knights of the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn in the field. They carry a larger degree of leadership responsibilities and may give orders in absence of higher command.
- Equestor
The Knights of the Order. After an Armiger passes their trials or is deemed worthy of knighthood without need of a trial by the High Pontiff, they may take lifetime oaths to the Holy Mother Church and become Equestors. An Equestor of the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn is entitled to the title “Holy Sir” or “Holy Dame” as appropriate to their gender. The rank of Equestor is permanent until death or discharge from the Order through Canon Law.
- Armiger
The squires of the Order of Knights. These knights-in-training are oathed to the Holy Mother Church for a septannum of service. Armigers are entitled to bear steel in the presence of Church leaders and are assigned to a particular Equestor for training in the ways of the Faith and the blade. An armiger is entitled to the postnominal Esquire.
- Centurion
The officers of the Army of God. These battle-hardened soldiers are oathed to the Holy Mother Church for a septannum of service. These are tasked actively training & organizing the soldiers of the Army of God in the field.
- Soldarius
The soldiers of the Army of God. These soldiers are oathed to the Holy Mother Church for a septannum of service. These are usually younger clergymen who cannot commit to an active lifetime service in the field, but who are willing to aid the Holy Mother Church where she may need it.
