Snow Elves (Elven: Mali'Fenn) are generally as tall as a grown Human, usually ranging from 5'6 to 6'2. On average, they're muscular like their Dark Elven cousins due to the often harsh military training they take on as children. The average Mali’fenn has a hair color ranging from white to pale blonde, though light brown hair is not completely unheard of. Their eye colors range from white-silver to hyper blue, to a deep amethyst and everything in between. The Snow Elves are the most progressive people out of the Elven groups, making strict laws against discrimination and prejudice. They allow everyone within their borders but are still wary when it comes to other Elves, due to the multiple genocides made by their cousins. Their rigid government reflects the serious and militaristic personality of the Mali'Fenn people.

Sub-races There are many various bloodlines of the four Descendent races. These are alternatives of the same race, changed genetically through generations of environmental and physiological change. Although all from the same forefathers they do still retain obvious differences. Not to be confused with Half-breeds, which are peoples who have descended from two parent races into a collective identity. They are not races in their own right.

The Elves

Elves are arguably the most diverse race in the lands, with three very different sub-races.

The High Elf The High Elves are the most graceful and educated of the Elves. Tall and renowned for their beauty and intellect; the High Elves are also known for their haughty and exclusive nature. Living in the secluded city of Haelun'or, they tend stay away from conflict if possible. Their society was formed in the early years of Asulon with the colonization of the Silver City of Haelun'or. Those High Elves who live outside Haelun'or are frowned upon by their brothers and sisters. High Elves considered 'pure' are called Mali'aheral, which means Blessed Elf, and those deemed impure by Mali'aheral customs are called Mali'ata which translates from Ancient Elven as Tainted Elf.

The Dark Elf The Dark Elves, so named for their dusky skin. More cunning and physically stronger than their other Elven kin, the lack of patience is common in their brothers. Because of this, many Dark Elves prefer the sword to the bow. Occasionally cast in a negative light due to long-held beliefs that Dark Elves are sneakier or more likely to be thieves, Dark Elves nonetheless form a large part of the Elven population.

The Wood Elf Wood Elves are a large part of elven society, the Wood Elves are nimble creatures of the forest. Smaller in stature than other Elves, they are quite agile and quick on their feet. Among the best archers in all of the lands, the size of many Wood Elves makes it difficult for them to wield a sword. They are also noted for their brown skin and red hair, rare among other types of Elves.

Their rigid government reflects the serious and militaristic personality of the Mali'Fenn people.

The Humans

The Humans used to have two sub-races, yet their diversity was so great that they were changed. The Halflings were once considered a Human sub-race, but are now commonly called a Half-breed.

Heartlanders These humans reside mostly in urban locations, like big cities and towns. They are for the most part always well educated, quite social, with men receiving combat training most of the time, making up most of the metropolitan areas. Nobility as such is often considered part of the Heartlanders, but this does not mean there are no social hierarchy, it is actually far more apparent in this group. Cultures such as those of former Salvus and Renatus, as well as Auvergnian culture would fit with Heartlanders.

Highlanders Outside the major cities, in villages and rural towns is where the Highlanders come from. Farmer are extremely common profession for highlanders, yet they are as well craftsmen, hunters and fishers. Far more interested in traditional values than their Heartlander counterparts, they based their culture on more unrefined and rustic means, preferring skills of survival, craft and strength. The lore correct Northerners would fit with the Highlanders. Cultures such as those of Raevir and Kaedreni would be cultures that fit with Highlanders.

Farfolk Those that come from far away exotic lands acquired the name of Farfolk. Normally quite different physically from the other humans, having different colored skin, darker most of the times, and that follow cultures that are quite different than their counterparts. Cultures such as that of the Subudai would coincide greatly with the Farfolk.

The Orcs

The Orcs are very strong of blood, but there are variations among them. In past realms it was believed that Shamans and Nomads were sub-races of the Orcs, but this was merely a misconception by other races.

The Uruk Uruks are a very common bloodline of Orc. Uruks are well known for their strength in combat and often become fearsome warriors.

The Olog Ologs are the largest bloodline of Orc, reaching heights of up to 12 feet tall. They are unable to think without speaking their thoughts and are often claimed to have three emotions, being hungry, happiness and rage.

The Goblin The smallest of the Orcs, Goblins are intelligent and fickle. Known for having bright minds, Goblins are frequently merchants, ambassadors and innovators among Orcs. Not nearly as good in combat as their kin, they often make a living as a blacksmith, especially repairing broken tools of war or loot obtained in battle. Most likely Orcish sub-race to be found outside the Orc lands.

The Dwarves

The Dwarves of the lands are strong and plenty, but some are better tuned to certain jobs than others.

The Cave Dwarf Builders of the greatest underground cities, the Cave Dwarves are the forefathers of all Dwarves. Renowned as some of the best crafters and miners in all the lands, they are often not as good at combat compared to other Dwarves. Their dark skin and light sensitive eyes have developed after centuries of living in darkness deep underground.

The Mountain Dwarf Originally from Kal'Alras, the Mountain Dwarves stand strong on land defending their cities. More likely to live above ground than some of their Dwarven brethren, Mountain Dwarves are typically worse miners than the underground dwellers, but better at using their axe in combat. Their long beards are often a fiery red.

The Forest Dwarf The most unique of the Dwarves, they are more likely to be found in forests and among the trees than other Dwarves. Eloquent and educated, Forest Dwarves often mingle with Elves and other races. They are not as well suited for combat, but excel in lumberjacking, fishing and occasionally Druidism. Some other Dwarves look down upon them for their rejection of the underground living enjoyed by most Dwarves.

The Kharajyr

Unlike other races the Kharajyr have four sub-races, which developed according to unique living conditions in their jungles.

Kha'Leparda Have light brown fur covered all over with dark spots. They do not excel in any single area, but are more than capable of performing any task set before them.

Kha'Cheetrah Although visually similar to the Kha'Leparda the Kha'Cheetrah possesses lighter fur and a sleeker physique. Their slender physique lends well to their agility and speed and they are highly dexterous, even by Kharajyr standards. However, their smaller figure means they lack the physical strength of other Kharajyr.

Kha'Pantera The most visually striking of Kharajyr, the Kha'Pantera possess a coat of silky black fur that covers their entire body. The Kha'Pantera are true creatures of the night, perfectly blending into the eerie and dimly lit night time jungle. Whilst all Kharajyr are stealthy the Kha'Pantera are masters of the art. Physically, their body structure very closely resembles that of the Kha'Leparda, relatively strong and muscly, yet swift and agile.

Kha'Tigrasi Kha'Tigrasi possess great physical strength and power. However, this increased bulk comes at the cost of speed and agility. Although the Kha'Tigrasi lack the swiftness of other Kharajyr there is still no doubt they are infinitely more agile than a Human. There is a common misconception that the Kha'Tigrasi are stupid, due to their larger appearance. This is not supported by any evidence.
