As Maer of New Reza, he quickly began making Mayoral legislation like reforming the city council his previous Maer had done and reinstated the title of Lord Bursar. Not only this he was capable of bringing back masses to Haense and keep things somewhat stable yet peaceful throughout his tenure. Stefan would later seek re-election in 1763, though would face defeat by three votes to a young and upcoming Hansetic politician, Tatyana vas Ruthern. Despite his defeat, Stefan saught to look towards continuing his works by leading his family where he would later be engaged to Lady Lucille Halcourt de Artois for a short period of time before the betrothal ended. Though he would later be regranted his family's old lands where he reconstructed to what it formally was, perhaps even better.

A few years upon Stephen's assertion as Baron, he'd begin to plan for the future of his children by enrolling them into the Hansetic Academy along with his heir becoming a ward under Duke Manfred of Reinmar. Once his children had graduated he had sent out his daughter and youngest son off to become Squires to later be brought up towards Knighthood. As of his heir, he'd seek out within the family of Ludovar to potentially rekindle the idea of a Vyronov-Ludovar marriage that failed between Stephen and the Count's eldest sister. Stephen would come with success with the betrothal for his son with the Count's cousin, Milena Ludovar.
 +
 +
After his firstborn's wedding, his other children would go off to become squires under the Knight of the Crow where they would seek to become Knights of Haense like many Vyronovs before them. As years went by Stephen would lead his family to the new lands of Almaris where he would reside in a manor within the new city of Karosgrad. Though upon his family's arrival to the new land, he would end up losing his only daughter to a group of bandits who had ambushed the patrol party she was in that had adventured up north. Due to the death of his daughter and his wife who had suddenly become bedridden, Stephen would become depressed and filled with stress as everything had turned upside down for the now, older man. Despite his depression and stress, he had carried on his duties as Baron as he would be granted a sizeable piece of land by King Josef along with the rest of the vassals of Haense.
 +
 +
Upon receiving the new land, Stephen had sought to build a fortified manor to which he would hire designers and builders to assist him on the construction. Five years would pass and the construction would be complete, to which he'd name his fortified manor as 'Vulzenstadt' also known as 'Wolf Fortress'. As he had finished construction, Stephen would suddenly take up in becoming a scribe to which he'd publish his first booked named 'The In-Depth History of the Greyspine Rebellion', a book that would fill the empty space of Hansetic history.
 +
 +
Within the year 1809, Stephen had hosted a jousting tournament as a celebration for the newly crowned King of Hanese. After the tournament, Stephen would publicly announce his abdication to his firstborn's eldest and his grandson, Stefan Boleslav. After this Stephen would embark on a journey to the lands of Aeldin, the land where his wife grew up at and told him about in his youth.

A few years would pass until Stephan arrived back in the lands of Almaris, upon his return he had hoped to possibly rejoin the Hansetic government yet would only be turned down due to his old age. Due to being denied he'd ride out to reunite with his grandchildren. There he was met with nothing but great division as his successor and now Baron of Astfield had caused a feud with his sister, Annika. Stephan tried to resolve the issue between the two yet failed every time as his grandson, Stephen II, was stubborn and never liked him. Despite the feud and Stephan trying to resolve the issue, he began to grow close with his granddaughter, Annika, to which they began to redecorate many rooms within Vulzenstadt and host some events within Astfield.
 +
 +
One day King Henry II arrived at Vulzenstadt to formally ask to court his granddaughter, Annika, through the old Hansetic tradition. As discussion of the betrothal began his grandson, Stephen II, would refuse the King's offer and began to argue with the King about the issue. This would lead to Stephen II demanding for the King to leave Astfield at once. During this Stephen was present for the meeting and backed the betrothal along with most of the Vyronov family. After the meeting, Stephen saw nothing but turmoil and great division between his grandchildren. Stephen would go against the new Baron of Astfield's wishes and demands by sending a letter out to King Henry II apologizing on behalf of his family and that he has the majority of his family backing the King's offer.
 +
 +
After the wedding between his granddaughter, Annika, and the King he would set out to return to his old ways of being a construction worker. There he would begin to build the Astfield farms, a large arch, and the Vyronov tomb.

Stefan Aleksandr, also known as Stephen I (7th of The Amber Cold, 1739 - Present) called The Persistent, of the House of Vyronov, was Baron of Astfield and author. He is the oldest child and son of Isaak Vyronov and his wife Elisabeth Amador. Most notable for being elected as Maer twice and regaining his family's noble status as Baron of Astfield, granted through the House of Lords within the Holy Orenian Empire. Known author of the "In-Depth History of the Greyspine Rebellion [1]".

Early life

Stefan Aleksandr Vyronov was born to Isaak Vyronov and Elisabeth Amador in a farmhouse outside of New Reza within the year of 1739. His birth would be unknown to both his paternal and maternal family due to his parents being secretly wedded and his father always keeping secrets. Though his existence would be known within the year 1741, which is the year his father was captured and murdered during the Rubern War. Growing up within Carnatia, he was tutored by his grandmother, Dame Primrose Kortrevich, as well as his cousin Ser Robert. Though within his early childhood Stefan was known to be very joyous and was intrigued in learning his family's history and others as he always thought it is best to learn from others' mistakes in their life as well as to gain a better understanding of what life truly was.

In the year 1747, he and his family would be met with a great catastrophe as his cousin, Duke Robert Vyronov, was convicted for murdering his brother and as a result his family would lose its titles then later its land. After the conviction and the death of his cousin, Stefan would be brought up as a ward to King Andrew IV to which he would see the King as a father-like figure towards him. As some years past, Stefan would yet again meet another disaster in his life as the King would pass away due to major wounds he had suffered from combating deserters who had kidnapped the Queen.

Adaline of Kerzenwick, circa 1774

Once Stefan had reached the age of twenty in 1759, he would seek to start a political career by running for Alderman against the incumbent, Ser Osvald Barclay. Within his campaign he decided to take aim at his competitors though more so towards the incumbent by bashing him on what he believed he was at the time, that being nothing more than a bench warmer. Despite Stefan's efforts within his campaign for Alderman, it resulted in a disaster as he became last.

A year later, Stefan would nominate himself in the special election of 1760 to 1761 for Maer. For his campaign as Maer, he would face the previous Maer's opponent Angelika Vanir(Bykov), who had come close to becoming Maer by only less than a handful of votes. Despite this, Angelika would be endorsed by the most respected Senator of Haense, Terrance May, due to this Stefan had quickly sought out for endorsements himself which resulted in him being endorsed by one of the Royal Princesses, Lord Treasurer, and High Steward of Haense. After a year-long campaign trial, Stefan managed to defeat Angelika by three votes.

After he had rebuilt his family's home, he would later be betrothed to Adaline Wick of Kerzenwick the half-sister to Siegmund Wick, someone he had worked with within the past. The two would then be married where they would be given three children. During this time Stefan would take part within the Scyfling Invasion where he would fight in numerous battles, sieges, and naval battles where he would earn medals for his efforts against the invasion as well as running for re-election once more for Maer in 1755 where he would win by a large margin. Though near the end of the invasion and the middle of his tenure as Maer, Stefan would go through the House of Lords to regain his family's noble status as Barons where he would pass with a vote of four in favor, one abstain, and two against. With this victory in the House of Lords, he would later after a year receive an Imperial writ of his nobility within the Imperial realm by Emperor Peter III becoming the Baron of Astfield.

Life After Abdication

After the wedding between his granddaughter, Annika, and the King he would set out to return to his old ways of being a construction worker. There he would begin to build the Astfield farms, a large arch, and the Vyronov tomb.

Death

In the year 1834, Stephen had fallen desperately ill to which led him to be bed-bound until his death in 6th of Malin's Welcome, 1836, in Vulzenstadt at age 97.

Throughout his childhood, he was seen to be a child with some sort of determination which led to a bad temper at times due to the amount of stress put upon him at such a young age. From the age of adulthood to old age, he had grown to be known for being strict within his leadership yet patient and collective.
