Notable Humans

Godfrey - Widely regarded as the greatest leader humanity has ever known, Godfrey united the weak and ailing human kingdoms of early Asulon into the Holy Oren Empire, securing human military and political dominance among the descendants for over a century.

Horen V - Known as 'The Black Dragon', Horen V's iron fisted leadership saw the Holy Oren Empire obliterate the weak Princedom of Malinor and bring the mighty Dwarven Legion to its knees. A somewhat controversial figure after suddenly leading the majority of Oren's armies across the sea to unknown realms, ending Oren's golden age and crippling the position of the Horen dynasty.

John Frederick Horen - The Current Emperor of Oren. Descended from the last Horens to sit upon the imperial throne, he took it upon himself the sacred duty of reestablishing the Empire of Man in the form of the Fifth Empire, and returning it to its greatest extent. He found his supporters amidst lost flocks of sheep, wayward nobles, and human militant supremacists in a realm with roughly 65% of its manpower lying in graves in the middle of the Druscan Woods, perished in civil war. Emperor John has been called Reformator Imperii by the Istrians and Sword of God by the Crownlanders.

Peter Chivay - Grand Master of the infamous Order of the White Rose with his brother Thomas in Asulon, later founding king of Kaedrin in Anthos, and Emperor of the reborn Holy Oren Empire in the Fringe. A military commander known for his inspirational leadership, matched only by his brother who was considered by many to have been the superior technical strategist and general. The Chivay brothers were well known for their hatred of Elves, especially Dark Elves and those dedicated to the Malinorian state. Their names and deeds remain focuses of hatred and fear for most Elves long after their deaths.

Thomas Chivay - Co-leaded the Order of the White Rose along side Peter Chivay in Asulon, became a prince of Kaedrin in Anthos. A 'arrogant' military leader most famous for being the Holy Oren Empire's Grand Marshal, which led to the White Rose being so successful. Was the one who commissioned the Imperial Conquest of Malinor, the direct result of the formation of the Kingdom of Kaedrin under his brother, but later died in Aeldin after the Exodus. His name still haunts the ears of any elf whom hears, especially the Dark Elves, the ones whom triggered the aggression of racial genocide in the White Rose.

Robert Chivay - Former and last Chivay dynasty Emperor of the Imperium Tertius. Robert was an inspiring young boy born in the halls of Ard Kerrack. Growing up he trained with the Marked Men, but destiny soon led him to retreat to Aeldin during the Exodus. He then returned back to the Fringe with his uncle Peter Chivay as an adult and heir to the throne of the Empire. When Peter died he took the throne, but shortly after the Vibius revolt occurred he fled back to Aeldin. He then resided in Aeldin, fighting tribal nations that oppose his current affiliation. His current location is unknown. Vibius de Sola - The last Imperial Marshal of Oren, General de Sola lead the Empire to victory in the war against the Dwarven-Orcish bloc, and revolutionized human military understanding, but his legacy ended as a revolutionary and a traitor. His status grew immensely from a plain infantry officer to worldwide power projection, to the point of being known worldwide as simply 'The Marshal'. An imposing man who lead from the front and lay out of touch with internal politics, he led one of the most effective coups in history against the Chivay-led Imperium, bringing the Imperium to its knees in the space of a few hours. The ensuing military junta fell apart in its final hours due to Caesar de Sola's untimely death at the hands of 2 loyalist assassins on the steps of the Imperial Palace. His descendants with his wife Caterina Horen have lived on, forming House de Sola and going on to obtain high honors, namely the Duchy of Istria.

Tobias Staunton - Arguably the most influential individual in recent history, Tobias shepherded the dismantling of the Fifth Holy Orenian Empire through the Eagle's Rebellion, instigating a new era of anti-imperial sentimentalities - one which saw a rapid increase in the number of independent domains across the realm. Despite being known as 'The Conqueror', for his conquest of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and the following war with the Kingdom of Mardon, he was also known for his fair style of leadership as the second King of Courland, ushering a short period of peace throughout Axios by establishing alliances amongst its political domains.

Guy de Bar - The third King of the Reformed Kingdom of Oren after Olivier de Savoie, he is previously known best for his work as Lord Chancellor of the Kingdom of Oren and Grandmaster of the Order of Saint Amyas. Took command of the Order of Saint Amyas, and then led the Savoyard forces into battle during the Canonist War. Led the 'Rape of Kodar'Goi', butchering the inhabitants of the Orcish city, when the Rex refused to pay tribute to him. He served as Lord Regent of Oren before being anointed King following the defeat of the Adrian rebellion. Regarded as a brave but brash king chaffing with his subjects, he was assassinated by an envoy of heretical and rogue clergymen. His death gave rise to the appearance of a Horen claimant and the reformation of the Empire of Man.

Olivier de Savoie - The second King of the Reformed Kingdom of Oren after the deah of Andrik Vydra. Olivier possessed great political dominance over his subjects, a worthy leader to all within his Duchy. His grandson Daniel also became High Pontiff of the Church, making Hadrien's legacy live on for many generations.

He established the Carrion Vochna which ruled for four generations before a coup brought back Chivay rule. After years of infighting the Carrion Vochna was restored in Athera.

Augustus Flay - A former bandit Lord who was later granted pardon by Emperor Godfrey, Augustus rose to become one of the most feared, yet hated men in the Holy Oren Empire. His later years were marked by conflict with Hochmeister Mirtok and the Teutonic Order, leading to numerous civil wars between the two factions, as well as an alliance with Peter Chivay and the White Rose.
