Biography

Childhood

Morug was born into the Frostbeard Clan in Kal'Urguan, being one of the son's of the clan legend, Karl Frostbeard. He spent his early days running up and down the streets, conversing with the various beardlings of the other clans and fighting with those who he did not like. From an early age he showed great skill in combat, but he was also noted as a very cunning and charismatic Dwarf. This came as no surprise to many however, as it was characteristic for the son's of Karl to be well rounded Dwarves. As he came of age, Morug was quick to integrate into adult Dwarven society, and became his ascent to the top.

Adulthood

After the fall of Kal'Urguan, Morug decided that he needed to explore the world and so he set off on a journey which would prove to be of a spiritual nature. One day while he was out in the vast and barren wasteland of the Northern snow planes, Morug was attacked by a large white bear. The bear came down upon him without mercy, and so Morug had to respond in such. After five days and five nights of wrestling back and forth, Morug proved victorious. He had wrung the bears neck and sent it to Dungrimm. As he cut up the bear and burnt the best of it as a present to the Brathmordakin, he was visited by what he thought to be Yemekar. After hours of talk, he realized it was time to go home, and as Yemekar departed so too did Morug. He began the journey home.

After travelling for many years, he finally found his way home, but not to Kal'Urguan. Aegis had long fallen and Morug found himself in the new lands of Vailor, where Dwarven politics where just beginning to become tense. The most contended election in the history of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan was about to go down. On one side of the ballot stood his clansmen, Vethaik Frostbeard, on the other was Skippy Irongut. Doing what any good Frostbeard would do, Morug voted for Verthaik. However, the next day he heard news that Skippy had won. A quick meeting was called and it was decided that the Blackfist Clan alongside the Frostbeard Clan would separate from the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and create it's own dwarven Kingdom; the Mountain Monarchy.
