The Maelstormic Society was a minor rebel group formed in The Unified Domain of Vortice during the Maelstormic Claim on Vortice. It was founded by James Maelstorm in Year 69 of the Second Era after his sect of the House of Maelstorm grew dissatisfied with Monarch Lenora Jusima's rule over The Unified Domain of Vortice. Though named the Maelstormic Society, James Maelstorm and Peralien Maelstorm were the only two members of the House of Maelstorm involved in the society, with the remaining members of the Maelstorm Family siding with Vortice, and the officially recognized head of the family, Aerith Majin-Maelstorm.
