List of Orenian Consorts

The Empress-consort of Oren (High Imperial: Orenorum Imperatrix) is the wife of the Holy Orenian Emperor, and thus styled with the regal designation of ‘’Consort of Oren’’ until her husband’s untimely death, or in rare cases, the annulment of the marriage before GOD. As the first Kings of Oren have as of yet not been discovered to have been married, none of their wives will be listed below.

Following Godfrey Horen's bloodless coup of the Renatian throne, and subsequent subjugation of surrounding Human kingdoms, the Holy Orenian Empire was born in 1379, with Godfrey's third wife, Rose of Seventis, serving as the nation's first Empress-consort.

House of Carrion (1431 - 1447)

In 1431, a few years after the collapse of the First Empire, Siegmund Carrion would be crowned Holy Orenian Emperor after he managed to reunite the Human petty kingdoms and stomp out paganism, thus beginning the second iteration of Oren, that unfortunately saw only one reigning couple.

Promptly after the assassination of King Francis I of Oren, a scion of the formerly great Carrion dynasty, in 1456, a notorious warlord by the name of Peter Chivay declared himself Holy Orenian Emperor, propelling himself and his family to imperial rank instantaneously.

After the Vibian Coup, Boris III of Ruska was elected amongst the nobility as Emperor; however, he was unwed for the duration of his reign, leading to the second emperor's wife, Mary of Carpathia, being the initial consort of this dynasty.

The House of Horen-Marna were emperor-pretenders during the ruthless War of Two Emperors through their sole ruler, Joseph I Leopold; Though not victorious in his fight, his rulership has been acknowledged as true and definite, thus declaring his wife as a valid empress-consort of Oren.

House of Cascadia (1720 - 1725)

The House of Cascadia is of the dissolved House of Horen, led by Godfrey II of Cascadia, who triumphed over Joseph I in the War of Two Emperors during his meek youth. Godfrey was married at the tender age of 6 to an astute young woman, though abdicating in his youth to his younger brother, who immediately abdicated the throne in favor of an elective empire, not allowing any more Cascadian empresses to be created as a result.

The first Empress consort of the Novellen dynasty came about after the proclamation of the Mandate of Heaven [1] by Prince Philip Amadeus, in which he installed himself as a Pretender Holy Orenian Emperor and in the same breath declared war against his grandfather, the regnant Emperor Philip II.
