LOTC:Bots

Beep boop.

A bot account is different from a regular account in that:

• Its changes are not placed on the recent changes page by default as to avoid spam.
• It reduces some of the technical limits usually imposed by the MediaWiki software, to reduce server strain.

At the moment, the only bot account is User:Brotherbot. If you're a Wiki Team Member and you'd like a bot account, bring it up to a manager.
