Biography

Early life

Julietta Varoche was born in the Adrian Capital of Ves to Duke Paul of Adria and his consort Baronetess Emigliana of Napoliza, being the third child, and second daughter, her birth saw no significance.

Her childhood would go through a hectic spin due to the war, her father would be forced to abdicate and reduce their power to members of the republic and the County of Varoche. After the family palace was stolen from them, Julietta and her siblings moved to The Imperial Capital of Helena while the war carried on. Often seen spending most of her time with her older sister who cared for the Varoche children while in the capital, she spent most of her years in the capital, over time beginning to adapt the Imperial culture, and even spending more time with her father's side of the family. She was often taunted and teased for her Illatian accent by the Horens.

Like most of the Varoche Children, Julietta did not spend much time with her parents and was often neglected and left to be raised by her grandmother and older sister. She often traveled around the empire and because of such became acquainted with many, later meeting her best friend Ester of the House Devereux in the Capital after a court session. The pair were seen often gossiping and playing all through their childhoods.

In 1721, Julietta’s mother had murdered her father, and she herself passed when the guards attacked her shortly after. The Varoche children would soon be taken in by the High Pontiff Daniel VI as his wards.

Adolescence and Teenage Years

During the point of her youth Julietta’s cousin Laurentina Julia had arranged a betrothal between Julietta & Count James Marna of Ravensbourg, of which would only last a few years, before her brother John Victor would give her hand to Janos Vilac, this lead a spark between the two men, causing them both to duel for Julietta’s hand. James had won the Duel, but to the surprise of many, he decided to let Janos have her hand.

Julietta became the Baronetess of Napoliza after her sister passed away during childbirth. It was during her teen years that Julietta blossomed and caught the attention of many from her great beauty, unmatching to any, she’d go on to be the sight at many balls and winning competitions over and over. Like many, she’s said to have flaws of her own such as her famed vanity that knows no height limits.

During Julietta's marriage to the former Vilac bastard, a large feud took place when Janos was legitimized by the empire. Leading to a feud between Janos and his brother Georgius who declared his intentions to disown Janos and disregard the Emperor's decree. This challenge of power lead to the Emperor supporting Janos in his decision to usurp the titles of House Vilac, making himself and Julietta Prince & Princess of Vilachia.

During the beginning of their marriage the young royal couple made many friends and would attend the largest social parties with their relatives and friends. It was noted that after Julietta failed to provide him with a son, instead granting him their daughter Lucia. He began to grow cruel to her, and the perfect couple began fighting in public.

Maturity

The Princess had taken physical and verbal abuse from her husband often to the point where she was forced to flee her home in secret during the night. Leaving her daughter and fleeing the Empire entirely. She had gone into hiding, while pregnant with their twin children Johanna & Lucas, and would not return to Oren for many years.

When news had reach the former Princess her Husband had been slain by her brothers by law, and the titles stripped from her children's inheiritance' due to argued legalities she finally returned to the Capital. She found welcome presence by the Orenian Aristocracy, her cousins Mariya and Lorena having been more distant now, it became apparent her place in society had long suffered. The Dowager-Princess had struggled with the war between her husbands family with the Emperor, that had dragged her daughter Luciana into the mess, when Peter III declared his support for her claim to the Principality.

Julietta's Children had caused strife in Oren because of the family feud. However their mother hadn't paid any thought to "Her Husband's Children" aside from her second daughter. The widow had instead chose to spend her time celebrating her husbands death and mingling among the families of Helena. It is said she developed a drinking problem in this time.

The old Dowager was mostly forgotten, however her tales and long, dramatic, and gossip-filled history immortalized with the publishing of her private diaries upon her death.
