The House then transitioned from Nobility to Royalty after Cesar I reorganized the Barony into a Kingdom. It has served as the Royal Family of Hyspia since then. Around 1793, Cesar fathered his first son and heir, Antonio Marvolo Rivera. After Cesar's death, the family once again transitioned to Nobility as Hyspia was turned into a landless vassal-state of the Barony of Osanora.

After the dissolution of the Hyspian Monarchist Army, many of its former members help to create the Rivera Noble Guard which becomes the official fighting force of House Rivera. For about five years, Antonio Rivera goes into hiding to avoid multiple assassination plots, and his location was only given to a few trusted members of the Rivera Noble Guard. Several years later, Antonio returns from hiding and the RNG reorganizes to the Hyspian Noble Guard. After another assassination attempt, Antonio has remained sheltered in Osanora until he reaches the legal Hyspian age of 15.

The Rivera Noble Guard is a militia founded by members of the disbanded Hyspian Monarchist Army. They became tasked with protecting the family members of House Rivera, and served as the main fighting force for the Family. Despite it's name, the RNG is resemblant to a regular Army or Militia and any man loyal to House Rivera may join. After a few years of existance, the RNG reformed into the Hyspian National Army which now serves the same purposes.
