Fatma Frostbeard was the first wife of legendary dwarf, Gorum Frostbeard. She is known as the first Frostbeard female and gave birth to many powerful beardlings which would carry on her and Gorum's legacy long after they had both passed.

Biography

Childhood

Fatma was born in the slums of Kal'Urguan to an unknown father and mother. Her hair was jet black but she often covered it with a blue rag which matched her piercing blue eyes, so when one day Karl Frostbeard happened upon her beating up a scrawny Irongut mage, he quickly took her in and made her an official Frostbeard. As the years passed by, it was clear to everyone that Fatma was Karl's favorite Frostbeard. He took her everywhere, and told her his deepest and darkest secrets. Officially she was just a simple Frostbeard, but everyone knew that she held the most power right after Karl and his two famed children; Gorum and Moruk. She often feuded with these two brothers, but in a brother-sister fashion. Together, the trio grew up under the watchful eye of Karl

Adulthood

When Fatma finally came of age, the time for her to choose a husband came. While other Clan's chose their female's spouses, the Frostbeards were progressive and allowed Fatma to choose her partner. Everyone knew that it would be either Gorum or Moruk, and the two of them knew it as well. Unknown to the other, they both desired her hand in marriage, and so Fatma decided to test each. She told them that whoever could bring her more happiness, would be her husband. Moruk quickly gathered his crew of friends, who were many due to his friendly nature, and began cracking the funniest jokes. The halls of Kal'Urguan echoed for days, and it seemed that Fatma would choose him over Gorum. But while Moruk was making everyone laugh, Gorum was far away in the lands of a wizard. Here he learned a magic that would serve him well, and would be the reason for his fame one day.

After seven days of travel, Gorum arrived to see Fatma about to make her decision. He rushed forward, an iron ingot, a chest, a sign and a hopper in his hand. Everyone stopped to see what Gorum had to show, because even though his brother was more outspoken, Gorum was just as respected among the Dwarves. He grabbed a pickax from a friend and dug a hole into the ground where he placed the chest and then he put the hopper over it. He placed the sign on the hopper, writing Iron Ingots on it and then placed an Iron Ingot in. As he did, he said the magic words "ALLAHKU AKKBAR". As he said this, a slew of Iron began to come out of the hopper and fill the chest. Within moments the chest was overflowing and iron flooded the streets. After this great act of magic, Fatma quickly chose Gorum and married him.

Post Marriage

After her marriage with Gorum little is known of Fatma. She gave birth to many little Frostbeard children and then abruptly disappeared, never to be seen again. Her abrupt exit left Gorum very sad, and as a result every few years, on the anniversary of their marriage he would perform the trick and then leave to find his long lost wife.
