The Dverga eron da Kirkja Rhun is a religious organization. Despite having the same theology, morals and spirituality as the Kirkja Dverga. They have a different tradition when it comes to their ceremonies.

Organization

Seercouncil

The Seercouncil is the agrupation of all the verified Seers of the Order. They make choices in and oversee the workings of the order.

Divination Analysation

When a Seer has been given crucial information by means of dreams, visions, or any other sign, they are to take it to the Seer Council so that they can all analyse the information to decipher its meaning.

Verification of stories

The Council of Seers verify stories as a group and give them their stamp of approval to show the story’s legitimacy.

Verification of seers

The Seer council is in charge of accepting and welcoming the apprentices that fulfill their trials into the Seer Council as new Seers.

Seers

Seers are individuals that have proven themselves able and responsible enough to be verified as a seer.Knowledgeable and in control of his emotions the Seer guides communities to be closer with the Brathmordakin and to try to be an example of a good dwarf. For this reason it is recommended that each clan has a Seer which the clan members can come to in their times of need for answers and guidance.

Communion with the Brathmordakin

The main task of a Seer is to commune with the world around him/her either by action: Active comunion, or inaction: Inactive Comunion. In an Active Comunion the Seer does certain actions in the physical plain to reach a communion with a Brathmordakin. For example, a Seer that also works as a smith can create a rite through his smithing so that he may analyse the sparks made by his anvil and hammer to try to commune with Yemekar the Brathmordakin of the forge. One of the most powerful active comunions is the one created during childbirth with Anbella. In that moment one can truly feel Anbella’s blessing and will. During Inactive Comunions the Seers are to do nothing and just try to become one with the world around them and by correlation also the Brathmordakin. In this way the Seer is able to understand the world through its own eyes. The most powerful Inactive Comunion is the one done with Dungrimm when one dies and before their soul is taken to Kaz’A’Dentrumm. The Seer becomes one with the world and leaves a piece of themselves in the world before they are taken by Dungrimm. In this moment the meaning of the physical world is granted to them.

Rites

Rites tend to be either ceremonies that teach about the faith, Active Comunions done in a ceremonial manner for a group of people, or a trial that is meant to bring someone closer to the Brathmordakin. Rites also include sacrifices, weddings, and burials, all guided and overseen by Seers.

Counselorhip

Seers are often sought out by dwarves for guidance be it social or spiritual. A Seer is meant to remain in control of their emotions to be able to see events as they happen as clearly as possible. Seers are not missionaries and do not teach those that are not interested in the deeper secrets of the faith. However, Seers do partake in ending heresies like blaspheming against the braths, killing undead, and generally fighting the forces of Khorvad.

Mentorship

One of the tasks of the Seer is also to make sure that there is a next generation of guides for the society. To this end Seers are expected to eventually become mentors to other dwarves that wish to understand the secrets of the faith and the powers that lie behind them.

Apprentice

An Apprentice is someone who is learning to become a Seer.

Apprenticehood

During apprenticehood an apprentice is expected to try to learn about the core basics of the Brathmordakin if they are not yet aware of them. Once the apprentice has learned the basics they would start to be taught about the different aspects of Seerdom, from what herbs to use in rituals, to how to commune with certain Brathmordakin, to things to avoid.

Trial

In the end of Apprenticeship the apprentice is to go through two trials. the Trial of Greed where the apprentice will be tempted by their greatest desire. Wether the apprentice falls to desire or not is irrelevant but is meant to allow the apprentice to know what type of individual they are. Then there is the Trial of Fear where the apprentice will face their deepest fears to test how grounded to the Brathmordakin the apprentice is. If the mind is not broken by the Trials the Apprentice will become a certified Seer.
