Ducal Coalition

The Ducal Coalition was an alliance composed of the Duchies of Vanaheim, Haense, and Adria, as well as a number of outlying forces that pledged their allegiance. It was headed by Lord Siguine Barbanov of Adria, and rebelled against the Reformed Kingdom of Oren in what would become known as the Dukes' War.

The Ducal Coalition was formed after repeated trespasses against the duchies that composed it, following the inability of the dukes and Crown of Oren to come to an agreement in regards to the recent hostilities that had plagued them both. It is interesting to note that many of the veterans on either side of the war are those who once marched together in order to create the Reformed Kingdom of Oren, and that the ongoing civil war is almost entirely split along Heartlander and Highlander lines.

Ultimately, the rebellion failed and its leaders were executed.
