Chi magic is a magic in which the user is trained to use the remains of magical byproduct, known as chi, in their ability to conjure it and do an array of abilities with it. Chi is simply the residue of mana,and that makes it a separate energy from mana. Chi is found in abundance at places known as Chi pools, this is where mana was or is heavily concentrated. Things such as ruined civilizations, or arcane-made cities,dense jungles, or thick fields are all places you can find these Chi Pools at. Being only the residue it cannot be used as a tangible material or force unless brought is copious amounts. Chi monks themselves are beings who have dedicated their life to finding this magical reside, and bringing it through their body, to use it in great feats of agility, strength, healing, or resistance. The origins of Chi come from knowledge passed down the Hou-zi from Hou-shen himself.

Usage and Manipulation

Chi usage is broken into two categories: Usage and meditation. Manipulation of Chi involves mustering Chi from the Chi streams and using it for physical actions. Users of this form of Chi manipulation implement it through physical means, such as punches, dodges, and flips or great aerobic ability. The more practiced the user, the better than can manipulate this Chi, even capable of conjuring enough Chi to bring it to a physical form at a mastered stage. Chi Meditation involves one withdrawing Chi from the large reservoirs, or streams of the Chi. The user must keep in a meditative state, which therefore makes them unable to fight with said Chi. These form of users are capable of resisting great strain, and healing along with reducing metabolism for long periods. These users are often able to survive wounds unless fatal from the beginning. To use Chi at all the user must not be in tact with another form of magical power source. Firstly the user will require a skilled practitioner to induce them into the streams and pool of Chi via exposing them to a large sum of Chi in a short burst. After this the user must practice channeling Chi through their body. The more practiced, the easier it will be to manipulate this Chi. Depending on the emotional state of the user when channeled will change the Chi's ability. If with anger it will manifest as a dangerous energy, somewhat like fire. If in a calm state the Chi will heal. (You must be taught this of course)
