King Charles Grimlie

King Charles Grimlie, was a Cave Dwarf and the second King in the second Kingdom of Urguan, he was appointed by Simppa after he fell ill, formerly Simppa's overseer. Leading with an "Iron Fist", he ordered the construction of many cities including Kal'Alras - later the city state of Alras. After Kal'Bryst fell to the Undead, Charles declared war on the Orcs, commencing the first Orc-Dwarf war of many. He gained the title Charles "The Mad" after declaring war on Oren in response to a Human alchemist breaking in to the Dwarven vault, this caused great divide in the Kingdom and caused Alras to declare independence.

After disagreements between Decks Grandaxe and King Charles over the attack on the humans, the Grandaxe Clan splits into the Braveaxes and Blackaxes. The Blackaxe Clan leaves Kal'Urguan, seeking refuge in their mountain home of Kal'Domhain, while the Braveaxes remain loyal to King Charles, in Kal'Urguan. Soon after Charles stepped down and crowned Belin Irongut.

Little is known of what happened to Charles post reign.
