The term Paragon can apply to both the Dwarven Brathmordakin faith, and the Norlandic Red Faith.

In the eyes of dwarves, Paragons are members of their faith who, through their deeds in life, are said to have been specifically chosen by the Brathmordakin to ascend into a rank of semi-godhood, and feast forevermore in the high halls of Khaz'A'Dentrumm.

In the Red Faith, Paragons are adherents who embody a singular trait or have performed feats of undeniable, unrivalled ability of positive or negature nature. In this way they are creditted with contributing to the balance of Norlandic society - for good or ill.
