Canonist League

The Canonist League was a military coalition formed in the year 1483, which fought in the extended conflict now known as the Schism War.
The Canonist League was composed primarily of the forces from the Kingdom of Akovia and March of Adria (comprised of the Baronies of Woldzmir and Montfort), and was later enlarged by the addition of the Duchy of Savoy. The Canonist League was primarily led in its military affairs by the men of Adria, whom are generally considered to have been the most elite combatants in the world at the time (and, many will say, still today). This is endorsed by modern reflection of the battles of the Schism War, in which the men of Adria often singlehandedly took on forces much larger than themselves, and came through victorious.
The League was formally endorsed by the High Pontiff of the Canonist Church (lending it it's name), and represented the faith against the Waldien-backed Schism that ultimately led it into war. A major tenant of the League was its practicing of the faith, and the zeal which filled the men who fought for it. The political and military leaders of the Canonist league would go on to fill positions of importance in the Reformed Kingdom of Oren after war's end, and modern Orenian geopolitics are still to an extent dominated by the three factions that composed the League and created the Reformed Kingdom (Some, however, will argue that the Massacre of Redmark may test theory).
