The Battle of the Bloody Road of 1638 (Dwarven: Krazdan Hohekk Ardolum) was the opening battle of the Third Crusade, in which the Coalition Forces, led by the King Javier Ruric and his son Jevan Ruric engaged in combat with the Orenian Conscripts; a decisive victory for the Coalition forces.

Prelude

As the opening act of the Third Crusade, the conflict was sparked by hostilities of the Imperial forces for when they sacked Seahelm, Javier, after helping Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah conquer the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, deciding that it was time for Norland to finally get its revenge, He rallied the Ruricguard in Vjorhelm, summoning all Coalition leaders to march their armies to the island of the Krag, once all the Coalition forces were assembled, Javier marched his men towards Adelburg, only to be met on the road by the Imperial army.

Battle

Javier set his men into formation, Norland and Kaz'Ulrah forming a shield wall in front of the Santegian archers, alongside any other archers the other Kingdoms rallied, the Orcs and Dwarves were to attack Oren from the right and left flank with their massive amount of Cavalry, Warhawkes were to stand behind the Santegian archers, ready to defend the archers if the Empire was to ever get through. A group of Orenian mercenaries pushed out all of their heavily armored soldiers, only to be met with a barrage of arrows, quickly being shot down, the Orc and Dwarves charged into the Imperial army, cutting through them quickly, forcing a large sum of the Imperial Soldiers to run down towards where the Dwarf and Norlandic Shield wall was, Adalwulf ordered his men to charge right into the Dwarven and Norlandic shield wall in an attempt to break it and take out the archers, the imperial soldiers hesitate for a moment, before charging into the Shield wall, quickly being cut down by the Norland and Kaz'Ulrah soldiers. The Coalition armies say the battle was over in only a few minutes.

Aftermath

The forces of the Coalition came out victorious, destroying the Imperial army. The commander of the Black Guard, Adalwulf somehow managed to get away alongside a small Regiment of Imperial Soldiers, fleeing to Haense. Javier continued to march the coalition armies onto Adelburg - halting his army's advance, however, upon hearing the news of the city's capture by Lord Canonius.
