Prelude

The day had started off with high tensions, after a report of an ISA patrol the legion rallied and deployed at the border of East Fleet. A legion officer on a scouting mission, Ragrin Ireheart, was then captured, and the legion began to move into imperial territory before encountering the released Ragrin. Most legionnaires then dispersed, though some companies began small scale missions. The Ferrymen notably began a commando skirmish on an elven settlement, capturing the elven Arch Chancellor, Minuvas, and dragging him to Stonetower by Eastfleet.

Battle

The ISA began to rally to rescue their Arch Chancellor, deploying just outside on the road in the shadow of the tower and facing a small band of Ferrymen on the road. Prior to this face-off, the Urguani forces were positioned hidden across the various levels of the tower, concealing their numbers and misleading the Orenian forces to believe they held an advantage. A battle broke out immediately where the Orenians chose to hold their position rather than take the offensive against the tower. To their shock and horror, military mind Diomé Indoren had anticipated this positioning and arranged for a flanking force led by Count Gaspard van Aert to strike them from the hill just across the road. Not but a moment after the flanking force attacked, so too did the forces concealed within the tower swarm outwards and catch the Orenian forces completely unprepared. After this devastating pincer maneuvering by the Urguani forces, the ISA broke ranks and scattered, leading to a couple thousand casualties against very few dwarven losses, and the capture of numerous officers.

Aftermath

The prisoners were then marched south to the Halls of Ancient Might, Kal'Darakaan, and lined up before the Grand King of Urguan.
