The Barony of Arenisca (Hyspanic: Baronía de Arenisca) or simply Arenisca, was a farfolk autonomous vassal-state of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, and was populated by a Hyspian majority. With the dissolution of both the Kingdom of Hyspia and the Archduchy of Hyspia, Arenisca boasted the title of Home of all Hyspians due to managing to unite most Hyspians under a single banner, which had not been done since before the Hyspian Schism. Following the death of Alejandro de Pelear, Baron of Arenisca, the title was inherited by his younger brother Cesar I, Viceroy of Hyspia, who later incorporated the title as a subservient title to the newly formed Viceroyalty.

History

Javier de Pelear (R. 47 S.A. - 78 S.A.)

The Barony of Arenisca was founded by the de Pelear family following the destruction of the city of Osanora. Javier de Pelear, having been fed up with the Hyspians being scattered across Almaris, spoke with Ulfric Frostbeard about granting the de Pelear family land within Urguan. After brief negotiations, the Urguani accepted Javier and his family into Urguan, and Javier then began construction of Arenisca City. Upon the completion of this city, Javier summoned all Hyspians to Arenisca so that they may unite as one people under the Areniscan banner [1]. The numbers of Arenisca began to steadily increase as more and more Hyspians began to trickle into the city.

Despite having been recently settled, the Areniscan people would not be long without conflict on their borders. In the year 52 SA, the Urguani-Orenian War was sparked. Javier, being fiercely loyal to Urguan due to allowing his people to live on the land freely, declared Arenisca's support for the Grand Kingdom almost immediately with support from a majority of the Hyspians under his rule. From there, the Areniscan soldiers went on several sabotage missions into Orenian lands, such as slaughtering the livestock at the Darkwood manor and causing minor damage to the Municipality of Redenford. Javier himself would often lead these expeditions, and a small amount of Areniscan soldiers partook in the large-scale Battle of Stone Tower with Javier leading the Areniscan detatchment.
