Bakir Ireheart (Dwarven: Bakir Kravamoruk) also known as "Bane of the Orcs", is a dwarven warrior and politician and the 34th elected ruler of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. He was born in the 1864 FA to Agnar Grandaxe with his mother being unknown.

Biography

Bakir came around the time Utak Ireheart was the Clan Father and led the Irehearts. Bakir helped him, killed an elf, and took their ear in the old city during the times of Arcus. Bakir was present when Utak got elected by the council and sat beside Gror Ireheart during the meeting. Hee took part in the siege of Mynebor with Utak Ireheart. Bakir, later on, met Durorn, they became the closest of friends and did the Ireheart trials together. hunting orcs down and rose the ranks of the Legion together, becoming Commanders under Dimlin Irongut. During this time the ranks of the Irehearts were at an all-time high and one of the clan's members was maimed and killed by the Rex because he was angered by our trials. The Irehearts issued demands and when they refused the clan warred them. They engaged in many small-scale conflicts with the Rex and won notably bringing them to their knees. After the Rex stepped down, Ugrad'Lur took the Throne and started insulting and disrespecting the clan. Once more another Ireheart was mutilated, his name Urist Ireheart and in the act of Revenge and Justice we warred them once more, aimed at bringing them to their knees. The most notable battle of the war was the Battle of Ire, where the orcs challenged the clan to raid their city with all of their clansmen, so the clan rallied, Utak and Gror as well as many others, they rallied a total of 3,500 clansmen and fought the orcs outside their city. The raid was an Ireheart Victory. After the battle Bakir led many raids into the orcish city, one time he led some beardlings into the capital upon Ireheart Dire wolves and mauled a Krugmar citizen for their loyalty to a dishonorable nation. Demands were sent and peace was resumed, to which the clan was able to destroy Krugmar and bring the nation to its knees with the clans' commanders being: Bakir, Durorn, Grimnir, Utak, Gror, and Axel Ireheart.

After the war, Bakir continued to serve the legion by fighting alongside the dwarves in the Inferi War along with being promoted to Clan Elder by Axel Ireheart. As the time went on for Bakir he found himself in the position of Grand Marshal of Urguan well the nation was on the brink of war with Oren, once the war sparked, the Irehearts would raid and win man battles against Oren. However, after they failed to hold onto the lands they currently had the Grand King of Urguan, Ulfric Frostbeard stepped down from the throne, During the vote it was decided that Bakir Ireheat would ascend to take the crown, going on to win the war and halt Oren's invasion into Urguan's land.

Early Life

The Ireheart-Krugmar Wars

After years of being away from his people, Bakir arrived back to Urguan where he would rejoin the Legion and rise in the ranks of the Legion with Durorn Ireheart becoming Commanders. During those years, the Rex of Krugmar would capture a fellow Ireheart to his clan thusly maiming and killing the dwarf. Due to this, his clan issued out a demand towards the Rexdom of Krugmar, which was denied resulting in a grudge war between Ireheart and Krugmar. Bakir alongside his fellow clansmen engaged in many victorious skirmishes with Krugmar, resulting in the Rex's abdication. At the rise of the new Rex, Ugrad'Lur, Bakir and his clan were insulted once again by Krugmar. It wasn't until another clan member named, Urist Ireheart, who was mutilated by Krugmar that the Ireheart clan would another grudge war break out.

Many skirmishes took place, though only one was the most notable with that being the Battle of Ire. It was in this battle that the Rex had challenged the Irehearts to attack its capital, to which the Irehearts answered. The Ireheart clan by itself was able to rally 3,500 clansmen fighting the orcs outside of its city with it resulting in a clan victory. It was not until after this that Bakir was given the opportunity to lead in many of the conflicts in the orcish lands and city. It wasn't until a few years later that demands were then sent and peace was made between the clan and nation. Not only this but Bakir was then promoted in his clan to the rank of Elder due to his great contribution towards the clan during the war by Axel Ireheart.

Conflict with Elves

The Kingdom of Elvenesse had caused strife among the Dwarves, regardless of the fact the successor of Utak and current Grand King, Jovin Starbreaker, was close to the wood elves, thusly failing to support his own kin and demanding an end to any conflict with Elvenesse. Upon feeling insulted by this, the relations between Ireheart and the Grand King fell towards great tension. Despite the Grand King's wises, Bakir had sought to win the war, which he and his clan father along with its clan members began to raid and bandit the Elveneese citizens forcing many of its citizens to remain hidden behind its walls. Eventually, the elves broke thusly conceding to the terms set by Clan Ireheart and turning in their leader Laetranis over to the clan. Once gaining the captive of Laetranis, Bakir would duel the elf in front of his clan and the nation resulting in Bakir beating the elven leader. After this duel, Bakir would drag the elf with his clan to the top of the Mountain of Urguan's city executing the leader.

An election for Grand King came about soon after with the abdication of Jorvin Starbreaker to which an election was then announced with the candidates being Norli Starbreaker and Bakir's best friend, Durorn Ireheart being present. Though the Grand Council was known to be biased in Norli's favor, to which some votes were marked illegitimate, which resulted in a tie once all the votes were tallied defaulting the election to a council vote. It wasn't long in the council meeting that Norli was announced as the winner. Due to the result, it had brought forth a great conflict within the Kingdom with Bakir and his clan seeing Norli as a weak and illegitimate King thus many Irehearts began to withdraw to the mountains holding a grudge towards the dwarves for many years. Despite the grudge, Bakir had he continued to serve the Kingdom remaining loyal to the Obsidian Throne as its Legion Commander.

As Grand Marshal

Urguan-Krugmar War

Near the end of Norli's reign, Bakir was given the mantle of Clan Father of the Irehearts. The now fully grown and mature Bakir brought the clan back to its former glory by retrieving members from the mountains and finding beardlings in their new home. As Urguan became filled with the majority being Irehearts, Bakir would later step down as clan father. Once Norli had stepped down as Grand King, the newly elected Levian'Tol Grandaxe would reach out to Bakir placing him as an advisor on domestic, as well as, international matters. The two would become close friends as they worked alongside each other. One stone day, Bakir would be captured by Krugmar and placed in one of their deepest and darkest cells. Upon capture, the orcs had shaved Bakir's beard for false crimes against Krugmar and the trials taken by Irehearts to become blooded. Bakir knowing of what is to come from his kin once word got out had advised the orcs to kill him if they'd wanted to live, quoting "It would be smart if you killed me, if you let me go, every single one of you shall die." The orcs laughed but still released him. Filled with rage and a lust for revenge and justice, Bakir not only told the Grand King but all the dwarves of Urguan and called for war.

With the now backing of Urguan, Bakir was promoted to the rank of Grand Marshal thusly leading the Legion and Urguan against Krugmar by pillaging its lands, thus keeping the promise he made to the orcs. After a few years of war, Bakir and the Grand King had defeated the orcs resulting in them ending slavery in Krugmar. Bakir would later step down from Grand Marshal going back to the rank of Commander, allowing Volden Frostbeard to take charge whilst reclaiming the title of Clan Father to lead the clan.

Upon retaking the position of clan father, he yet again brought the clan back to where he had it last time. Though during this time, two of his new clan members (Gorlim & Ragrin) were halted and chased down by Orenians near the border of both Urguan and Oren. After hearing of the news, Bakir spoke outward for his clan in the council meeting towards the Grand King, Ulfric Frostbeard, demanding for action to be held against Oren. The result of the meeting would be for the Chancellor, Azkel Frostbeard, to speak with the Orenian officials of the incident to which Bakir would accompany Azkel there as an Ireheart representative. Within the meeting, Azkel would only appear to be weak and show no backbone against the Orenians who attacked his kin, thus upon return, Bakir began to plot to replace the Chancellor. It wasn't long until Bakir reached success, as the former Under-realm King, Atandt Irongrinder, sought to replace Azkel as Chancellor to which the two began to work together on this goal, thus replacing the chancellor.

Once successfully replacing Azkel with Atandt, a war would break out known as the War of Wigs between Urguan and Oren alongside both of their allies. Bakir remained in the role as Commander with Volden at the helm as Grand Marshal, not only this he would be Commander with his father, Agnar, who had returned a few years prior. After winning many battles for Urguan, the Grand Marshal would be quite absent from the war and the Legion which had only led both Bakir and his father to lead Urguan's forces in battle.

The Grudge of King & Ire

During the war, Bakir had sought to vassalize Du Loc underneath his clan as he believed it'd benefit Urguan. Bakir would be unsuccessful in doing this which had resulted in Du Loc threatening to get the church involved with the possibility of them joining the side of Oren. The Grand King would seek to meet with the leader of Du Loc without informing Bakir. During the meeting, some Ireheart clan members would appear led by Gror Ireheart began to insult the Grand King during the meeting thus starting a dispute. Once the Grand King arrived, Bakir confronted Ulfric in the Legion hall with his clansmen surrounding him with his father, Agnar, standing by the Grand King. Bakir would ask to move the discussion to his clan hall to which the Grand King obliged in doing so. Within the clan hall, the dispute continued to which Bakir challenged the Grand King to an honor duel yet it was refused. Due to this, Gror gathered some clan members beginning to chase down the Grand King due to the refusal.

Bakir would see his father slowly side more with the Grand King than with him and his clan. It wasn't until after it was declared that his father was named Grand Marshal and his father's signature on a document revoking his clan's seat that he would disown him from the clan. After a year of dispute, it would be resolved with both sides acknowledging their wrongs and thus reuniting Urguan to finish the war against Oren. The war would continue for some time with Urguan suffering some defeats. Upon Ulfric requesting a meeting with Bakir in an attempt to step down with a smooth changing of power, Bakir would then set his eyes on the Obsidian Throne. As the assembly began and the abdication of Ulfric Frostbeard came, Bakir alongside Ulfric convinced the other clans of the Council to support his claim for Grand King without any opposition, thus officially starting Bakir's reign.
