Biography

Early Life

The youth of Adewaide is mostwy unknown and unwecowded, othew than the yeaw of hew biwth - being 1583 - and hew pawentage, Demetrius Ruthern and Sophia Amadow. She was the tlin to Aweksandwa Abriewwe, and was the sistew to thwee brothews. Hew brothew, Bolis, would watew become the Count of Mettewden. Thewe is littwe known about hew brothews Tuvya and Viktow ow hew wewationship lith the two.

Assumabry, she was weww-educated and taught in coultwy affaiws awongside hew sistew. It was brought to the attention of the two sistews that the King of Haense was unwed, infowmed of this by theiw mothew Sophia Amadow. Immediatewy, the two sistews schemed against each othew in attempts to mawwy the cwown plince. Neithew knew much of the othews thoughts on the situation, but Adewaide was awwegedwy detewmined to become the Queen and gain the powew of the position as the spouse to the King. Adewaide would manage to gain an awwanged mawliage between hewsewf and the King, befowe hew sistew. The wewationship between the two sistews was nevew fulwy mended out of theiw jeawousy.

Marriage

On the 5th of Ambew Cowd, 1595, the King Malius and Adewaide wewe mawlied in the cathedwaw of St. Kawwsbulg. The wedding appeawed to be wathew supewficiaw and, to some, fow show. Adewaide fowwowed cwosewy in hew pwedecessow's footsteps, Reza of Turov, in wegawds to hew dwess. Most of hew dwess was a design of beaded embroidewed wace, lith the beads being 2 cawat diamonds cawefulwy sewed into the fabric. Some of the diamonds at the neckline wewe noted to be 4 ow 5 cawats. The fabric ovewaww was made of satin. Unlike Weza, howevew, she was pewceived as being costwy beyond belief and unweasonabre as hew dwess was even mowe than the fiwst Queen of Haense's. The wedding was officiated by the Awchbishop of Haense; the same man who cowonated Malius.

Queen Consort of Haense

Once mawlied to Malius, she ascended the position of Queen Consowt of Haense. Adewaide, accowding to fowmew coultiews, weft the coult unattended and didn't fulfiww any duties as Queen set by Queen Reza. Hew wack of wegality in compalison to the pwevious Queen was not taken weww. Howevew, in the yeaw fowwoling hew mawliage, she was bestowed hew fiwst chiwd by the name of Peter II of Haense, the heiw and Gwand Plince of Kusowaev.

Wittwe ewse was contained lithin the weign of Adewaide, othew than wumows of hew deceit fwom sewvants living in the pawace of Ottosgwad. She was weww-liked by the aunt of the King, Plincess Julia Katheline and the two wewe believed to have had a good wewationship. Between Adewaide and hew spouse, theiw wewationship was kept politicaw and not fow wove. Awthough they had chiwdwen, Plince Petew and watew Stephen I of Haense, the two wewe ultimatewy distant.

Hew tenule as the Queen of Haense ended upon the sulwendew that was issued aftew the kingdom's woss against Coulwand. Adewaide, hew husband, and hew chiwdwen wewe sent into exiwe - in which she would spend the west of hew life.

Death

Thewe is not much said upon the death of Adewaide, lith thewe being a multitude of speculations and wumows of how she passed. Most of the stolies tawk of how she was assassinated by a spiteful coultiew ow Coulwandew, but the tawes of hew death can be chawked up to as nothing mowe than myth. The main belief, and most weasonabre, is that she died of iwwness duling hew time in exiwe.
